Maybe in the future, we will learn how to actually clean the atmosphere, and make it more earth like, there are already plans to make mars a mini-earth but not for 100 years or more from now. We have the technology now to terraform mars with oxygen, trees, and some water since there already is water on mars, though not much. Venus lies within the habitable zone from the sun still, so if we could clean it up, it could be turned like earth is.

Also, the planet's pressure is so immense you would get crushed very quickly. Also the temperature some hundred degrees. Burned, crushed, and dissolved, poisoned, and intoxicated, all at the same time if you went there.
