  • Why not all glass instrument panel? Gauges are old fashioned

  • Israel I here have the real thing

  • félicitations au group virgin galactic .

  • it is like a really expensive roller coaster

  • needs bigger windows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • if I had $200,000 I'd immediately hand it over to Virgin for this

  • what software did u animate this with?

  • Fantastic ...

  • Only rich people will piss and take a Shit.

    Asshole.

  • only the rich people will be able to go up.

  • it was/is the same with regular airplanes now too. Its a purely "want" thing, not a "need" thing so ya you need $ lol

  • In case anybody's wondering, Spaceship Two will go about 2600 mph, or one sixth the speed of orbital space flight. To go orbital would take at least 36 times more energy (square of the velocity), but then you'd have to carry a lot more fuel, which would take more energy.

And then when you're coming in, you'd have to slake off 36 times more energy, so you'd have to have some way to deal with the heat. The relatively slow speed of Spaceship Two is why they don't have to worry so much about heat.

  • @mutatron I think even NASA themselves quoted the number 36, but I can't find the article. Do you maybe have a link? I'm trying to convince people on a forum and it would be nice to have an authoritative source instead of home made physics.

  • @mutatron WIth home made physics I meant my own.

  • Branson is great, if you like business i suggest you people go to mycomeup com

  • In around 7 years ist the ticket price only around 25000$ to 30000$. 25000$= 19235 euro. 30000$=23082 euro

  • It's actually $200,000. Deposits start at $20,000

  • I loved tha last voice that says 'VIRGIN GALACTIC'

  • Right at the top of my goal board FOR SURE

  • tickets are 20,000 lolz not sure where you can buy them though pegobuilders if you can afford it, it does look AWSOME!! once in a lifetime experience im sure

  • looks a fantastic ride.....where can I buy a ticket?

  • No heat during re-entry? Why didn't NASA come up with that? What slows the ship down?

  • they call them "feathers". its the way the "wings" go up into a vertical position. Creates drag and extreme stability. the reentry from supersonic to subsonic is so smooth. just awesome engineering. and the fool who says it wont work?? it has worked. spaceship one just isnt big enough to carry people.

  • Very cool. Thanks for the info.

  • also a suborbital flight isn't as fast as an orbital flight so you don't have all that speed to bleed off.

  • Actually... it is... just not big enough for passengers.

  • It is big enough for passengers.

  • Your grammatically impeccable input highlights your credibility

  • wow^^

    wonderfull^^

  • New York to Sydney in 1.5 hrs

  • seriusly?how many people can say theyve left planet earth?lol i wish i could!!!

  • Imagine the pressure strain on your ears though... And I just hope the ship would be strong enough to survive re-entry to earth. But apart from that, I can't wait!

  • I sure wouldnt like to be re-entering in that POS...

  • it's

    awal

  • BRANSON DOIN' IT FOR BRITAIN!!

  • This logo is ... Virgin Records logo,

    see - virginrecords(dot)com

  • its still too expensive. but in 100 years we will be buying worth $200 tickets to Mars bases

  • It's in the eye of the beholder or in the hand of a wallet holder. Many people who already have purchased the tickets have been sponsored by the all kind of corporations.

I guess the trick is to be the first space tourist in your country.

That will drive big enough media attention to attract sponsors. Clever !

  • Heck yes! Go Burt Rutan and Richard Branson! Virgin Galactic has already said that if the sub-orbital trips are successful, the next ship (Spaceship3 ?) will go to ORBIT! It's still way too early to talk about that...but just the thought of a commercial spaceliner going to orbit someday in the near future is incredible. Just imagining that you could buy a ticket to go to Earth orbit someday. And maybe beyond?

  • all the best rich...

  • about bloody time, congrats Sir Richard Branson
