You NEED to supply calcium in their diet. The do need dirty, chalk etc a lot. They do this in nature too. Please give them calcium food. You can buy it in any pet store.
It's the feathers on the head - as in, lack of feathers. Amongst other things, it feeds on the mushy dropppings of the giant, flightless cassowary - How would you keep them clean if you ate, erhem, that kind of food? O O ~
