@CUALL8R Dude i've seen many swords WWI and WWII swords go for over 2000 dollars, what I don't like about this one is the lack of information. Could be a replica, we also don't know which type of sword it was, and what was it's purpose.
its a plain,dovehead army sword,as already posted,$400 to $500 is its value.they were given to german army officers.very common & not that collectible.the only big $ german ww2 swords are SS swords,prison officer swords,etched blade swords etc,a nice early luftwaffe sword will get $1500 to $2000 retail,not a plain army sword,thats for sure

@maximef1 There are some swords that are worth over 2000 usd but not this one. It's laking over 50% of the gulding and it's a typical dovehead swor. If it is an Eikhorn field marshall series it might be worh 550 tops. It's a typical dress sword. Convincing fake swords haven' t prolferated the hobby yet.
