@AvihooI לגבי יהודים שעזבו את ארצות ערב - זאת שאלה נפרדת שאני אישית לא יודע עליה מספיק. כנראה שאין הרבה יהודים שרוצים לשוב לעירק או ארץ ערבית אחרת אבל בטח יש תביעות מוצדקות לגבי רכוש שהוחרם וכדומה. לגבי הערבים בארץ - אין סימוכין לטענה שהם עזבו כי אמרו להם. היו מקרים של גירוש (יפו, לוד רמלה), היו מקרים של מעשי טבח (חיפה) מצד ההגנה וכוחות אחרים והיו כאלה שפשוט ברחו מפחד מהקרבות. בכל מלחמה יש פליטים ואחרי שהיא נגמרת יש להם זכות לחזור. במקרה הזה לא ניתנה להם אפשרות לחזור והם גם לא פוצו על הרכוש שלהם

@goer1234 המלחמה הייתה דו-צדדית כאשר הצד שהתחיל אותה היה הצד הערבי. הם חשבו (ובהגיון לא מועט) שהם ינצחו במלחמה ולכן פתחו בה. הזמנים היו שונים דרסטית מהיום. מדובר על רק שלוש-ארבע שנים לאחר סוף מלחמת העולם השנייה שבה בריטניה השמידה את ברלין בצורה בלתי נתפסת וארצות הברית הטילה לא אחת אלא שתי פצצות אטום על יפן. עכשיו - אני לא אומר - ניתן להיות פציפיסטים, רודפי צדק פילוסופי ברמות הכי טהורות שאפשר. אבל אם נעשה זאת ניכחד. וזה משהו שהשמאל בישראל לא מפנים או שמפנים אבל מוכן לספוג את התוצאות בשם ערכיו.

@goer1234 אני עדיין חושב שיש הבדל משמעותי כאשר יש שני מיליון ערבים אזרחי ישראל ואפילו לא אחד יהודי בחסות הרשות הפסלטינית וכאשר מדינתנו היא דמוקרטית עם צבא חמוש אחד (ומכיוון ששירתתי בצבא הזה - לא יהיה ניתן להזיז אותי מהעמדה שהוא אכן צבא שקול ומוסרי). הסיבה שאני לא מסכים להחזרת שטחים היא כי אני לא סומך על הצד הפלסטיני - לא מאמין לו - לא חושב ש"סיום הכיבוש" כפי שהם קוראים לו אכן יוביל לאותו שינוי שאתה מדבר עליו. ויש לי סיבות רבות לחשוב כך. אני מאד מקווה שאני טועה ואני מאד מקווה שניתן לשכנע אותי כך.
