We as Canadians have such low self esteem that we have to measure our decisions in relation to what the United States wants. We think we have to stand up and defy the United States to asset our sovereignty regardless of what the right decision is. First of all it has come to light that America never asked for our help with the Iraq invasion so it was political bullshit to say that we weren't participating.
