MMPR may be borrow footage from Zyuranger, sure, but the characters and story are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. As far as the Japanese are concerned, MMPR is an entirely new show to them.

The MMPR movie is an even greater example; not only are these NOT the original Zyuranger costumes, there is absolutely no Sentai footage at all. So for them, the MMPR movie is also entirely new.
