  • good vid man. you said essentially about 45 times, but still pretty informative.

  • when u heat ur room to 85 do u have to heat the racks

  • Great Job on the racks man. I always like looking at your stuff, really good ideas. thanks for sharing them.

  • Hey dude can i use a clothes drawer as a reptile rack?

  • at 7:18 you talk about heating the plastic rack with heat cable under the tubs. Is it between the shelf and melamine boards or the melamine boards and the tubs?

  • hey i have the silver ikea rack, the antonias, i was wondering how to hook up heat tape to the bottom of the tub???? i will be housing geckos not snakes

  • great vid steve! thanks for that, so with your room heating do you not need a hoptspot on each tub?

i am using the antonius tubs in a new rack, but i didn't think about using the frames.

  • hey steve can you make a video about how you breed your mice and rats. And the way you have your racks setup to produce enough mice and rats to feed your snakes

  • Excellent video. And the timing couldn't be better. I'm about to rack my snakes up.

  • I am not into snakes so much, just think there cool to look at. But I do have a question. Why do you keep some snakes in melamine cages, and others in tubs? Don't laugh at me if it's something simple. Haha

  • Ike's doesn't sell the Antonias rack anymore. I got two about 2 months ago and went back 2 weeks later and they don't carry it anymore

  • @ChicagoHerps DAMNIT! I havnt been to IKEA in about 2 and a half months. lol. Oh well, they usually come out with very similarly designed products to replace them, but its a shame because these racks are epic!

  • @ChicagoHerps they have them on their website

  • Great Video and Great Racks. Wish I could have started at 17.

  • Very informative Steve!! Get ready for hundreds of questions for many years to come! lol.

  • impressive that your only 17 and you do all of this.....and thanks for the ikea idea i've been looking for a good inexpensive rack system.

  • Hey Bro How's it going, the rack that you said was about 100$ bucks, is that the one you got from Ikea? what about the tubs where did you pick those up from with lids? and I guess its safe to assume you wired the heat tape your self which is the easy part for most of us. I just came from Ikea's web site and couldn't find the rack but said let me check with you, Thanks

  • @aReptilesLife Apparently IKEA quit making them, but they were part of the Antonius series.

  • @HiImSteveDuh ok thanks keep up the good work with your vids

  • Another great video I wish I had a friend with the brains of construction because in defiantly do not lol

  • I have a question, WHERE do you get the racks seen at 3:23?? for $150 heated I could use that BIG time! I am using 28qt lidded melamine racks that really suck for my adult balls.

  • @PiedPythonXtreme I got them from IKEA

  • How old are you and how do you afford all of this stuff?

  • @AKReptiles15 Im 17, and Instead of investing in a normal college fund, I invested in snakes.

  • I have a question. does your'e reptile room have a smell in it? does it stink or just smell of snake or snake poo? my room often smells because of the snakes :/

  • @WMRProduction Depending on how clean it is, it can smell. But usually not bad. Newspaper doesn't obsorb very much odor, so I try to keep the room spotlessly clean.

  • Awesome man, im building a new rack soon so this helped. Thanks!
