If you look at the quali times of 94 then you see Senna and MS are the 2 only pilots within 0,2 seconds of eachother. For example Aida 94, It was Senna,MS (0,2secs)then a big big hole of 1 second to the next.
Shumacher didn't have the best car in 1994. Hill and Senna did. However, Hill was a Rookie and Senna was killed. Schumacher still had to resort to ramming Hill to win.

well, i dont need to do research because ive watched F1 since 15 years and i rarely missed a race. Many ppl think the Ferrari was the best car in 05,04,02 but the reality is you must look on the teammate then you can realize how good a car realliy is. As far as i can remember Massa was often 3rd in the end of the season. MS made the Ferrari strong looking. And no, the Benetton of 94 and 95 was not the best car, look at herbert and verstappen.
You must also look that almost the whole time the team was 80% MS / 20% Teammate

my opiniom is that alonso is much overrated, he had luck that his renault was so dominant and reliable in 05. In 06 ferrari was only in the end strong, at the beginning the renault was faultles and to quick. I think Hakkinen is the best, he won the DTM race at the weekend by the way, a great champion. A great car is if your rubbish teammate get 2nd. I think Massa was the hardest contender for MS. Underrated and quicker then raikkonen.
A real dominating car needs no good drivers, like the 1997 williams. Every monkey can win in good cars. The 94 Benetton used a V8 ford engine instead the stronger V10s of the williams. The fact is MS fought nearly every season for the title, even in bad cars like 1996,97,98,99(broken leg). He won races with the 1996 misbreed car, the first win for ferrari since xx years. Senna was at that time at his peak of performance ans schumacher still learning.

Clark had the best car in 5 of his 8.10 seasons (Lotuses).
Prost had the best car in 6 of his 12.68 seasons (1984, 1985, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1993).
Senna had the best car in only 2 of his 10.19 seasons (1988, 1989).
Schumacher had the best car in 7 of his 15.38 seasons (1994, 1995, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004)
