Hey, i have a problem. Every time i want to download the mod (not the requirements), and i click on the URL adfly or something, and i press 'skip add' to download it, it says:

How comes I can install anything up to (already having modloader, modloaderMP and audiomod working) PlayerAPI, but as soon as I try to install Shockah's API Minecraft doesn't start anymore.

Aether mod doesn't work without it, either.

paulsoarsejr, When I downloaded all the MODs, it was fine until I finished (I have TooManyItems downloaded too). At the end, I opened Minecraft and got the loading screen. It is taking extremely long to load, and I was wondering does that mean I did it wrong? I'm using 8,547,478 bytes, is that too much for Minecraft?

@MrElmoProduction u need to back up your minecraft because cuz if u muck it up ten when u load minecraft up it will come up with this message: 'Minecraft has crashed!' and it will say how it has stopped working and then u will need to reinstall minecraft.....unless u back it up. BUT u dont need to download that back up thing... all u need to do is copy all your files in minecraft file (in %appdata%, ....bin, texture packs, mods etc. etc,. just copy them into a folder named minecraft back up E.g

if u get a black screen then only delete the bin folder the whole thing restart minecraft and it will download a new one. its the only way

just some advice all you have to do is reinstall minecraft so you have to delete .minecraft and find a download for .minecraft on youtube then your mods will be gone but a least you got minecraft

guys currently the aether mod is not compatible with 1.1 minecraft.

No matter what you do, its going to result in a black screen because the coding for 1.1 is different than 1.0.0. The aether as you can imagine is a HUGE mod to make and update so until a version of minecraft comes out that is going to be stable in terms of updates (Not receiving many) they are not going to update it because it would take way to fucking long for a mod that big (plus its not 1 mod its like 5).

there is one way, (though it did NOT work for me) to downgrade it to 1.0, there is a program called mcnogstalgia, search it, it should be on a Minecraft Forum, and once you have downloaded it, DO NOT unextract it, open it, look for the application, then run it, press enter, type '1', then press enter. NOTE: this requires a clean version of Minecraft, so don't even delete the 'META-INF' folder, so to recap, force update Minecraft, download the zip file, then open it, type '1', enter, then.. DONE!

All of you people would save yourself so much trouble if you did just a little research on the mods before you try installing them. The Aether mod has not been updated yet for Minecraft 1.1.0 and will not install properly if you try it. You currently have to restore minecraft to an earlier version before you even attempt to install...
