He says it's the best because of the quality. Most of the sets are made not on location British Columbia. The acting, the chemistry, the subtle things. People say it's not funny Jack wasn't funny not openly. The fact is Stargate was fake. With these people and situations that were not quite believable. Though how we loved it so. The finished product wither people like it. That's not the point of Brad Wright says it's the Best Then it is.

In a recent interview for Gateworld, SGU executive producer Brad Wright appealed to viewers to watch the show on Tuesday nights. “Please watch my show,” he said. “I mean, [saying things like] ‘I’m loving the show,’ ‘I downloaded it’ … that does not keep us on the air. Viewers have to watch our show live on the same day, otherwise our television show is going to go away.” It's never a good sign when a show pleads for viewers.

One thing I love about SGU over its counter-parts is jsut how deep the characters are in themeslef and in eachother.

It's a massive internal struggle, more-so in themselfs than the other races they fight, and I like that about SGU.

The franchise didn't need reinventing, and I miss Ronon; however, I like Stargate Universe. I think it is intriguing and better than anything else on this year and last year. Most other sci-fi series have terrible transitions and their story-lines have poor introductions so you have no idea where the hell they're coming from; with Stargate writing, there is a beginning, middle, and ending (which can turn into a cliff-hanger).

I can't believe Brad Wright said season 1 of SGU was the best season of any show.....oh please. Seasons 6 & 7 of SG-1 were the best. Matter of fact, ALL of SG-1 was better.

Atlantis S02 and S03 > all other seasons of Atlantis

SG-1 and Atlantis all seasons > Universe S01

However, this doesn't mean that Universe sucks 100% xD

the show is awesome.more humor?they are stuck on an ancient rust bucket ship with no way of getting home.people on the ship are probably cranky and scared etc. why would they be funny? the cast is awesome. but o'neill and daniel and teal'c and mckay,shepherd are the best. its just a matter of preference.serious,desperate and mysterious OR funny.

the SGA,SG-1 casts are basically the same.ronon-teal'c mckay-carter-shepherd-o'neill,­Jackson-telya altho teyla is a fighter.

Its a BSG to SGU morf . Great drama but, dark, very soapy and lacks any funny characters. The odd line of humor is few and far between. I think with the right scripts Eli will hold this together.Want to see more scifi,more technical problems, more ship discoveries, maybe several alien species to run from on some of these planets. We need to take science fiction to the next level. Science fiction has always been a form of dreaming about exciting and impossible things.Needs more humor.

i agree. it's like the terminator series. good premise but in the end its just not enough. i doubt this series will be longlived, maybe 2 seasons. After have watched 8 episodes i am a bit curious though, il prob watch rest of season. The fat guy is annoying as hell though
