@psychotickable It is hard to tell which had more significance, his work in the lab, or his work in suing everyone possible in court. Some legal battles he actually won. He moved to NY City in the 1880s and was good at using the legal system to attack others in patent suits. Very typical of New York City cut-throat culture, he felt at home and died there in the 40s.
