This is ridiculous! It is sad that how many more women will have to die before the government does something to liberalize its abortion laws to allow for exceptions for rape, incest, and the health of the mother.

well, if govt will consider abortion among raped victims, they should file a case for rape. Coz any one could claim they were rape and get an abortion. In this case, we can also prevent rape by reporting perpetrators.

so hard to choose when you are not in the win win solution. this is a dilemma right now where i as a woman and a wife could not choose the best and as a we are not provided the right to choose on what we personally want for ourselves and for our family. i am saddened that our society is not provided with help on this matter.

These are special cases that abortion should be a allowed and must be performed without violating the abortion laws in the Constitution in order to save the mother or dignity of raped victims. Women are discriminated for not sufficiently provided their rights of choice for their own health in the Constitution due to strong influence of the Catholic church in the country.

@Kentheinfinite I think that abortion should be allowed under circumstances - im nearly about the same age as you but I oppose with your belief about abortion. The general case when you have experienced rape is the fact that you suffer through mental traumas - this just wouldn't the benefit the poor child as how can the child be raised with a mother who is mentally ill - it would cause a negative effect between the child's and mother relationship. Women don't get raped because they wanted it - that's the ULTIMATE OXYMORON. Rape means the woman is forced to have sex she didn't want.

Young one, I suggest you think about this little dilemma: suppose your mother gets pregnant, but this pregnancy will endanger her life. Are you fine with RISKING YOUR MOM'S life to carry the pregnancy to term?
