First of all, this is not a circuit, it's a superset.
Second, your movements are too fast with too little weight, that will NEVER improve your strength nor your resistance. All it is going to improve is the chances of getting injured.
Third, get rid of the unstable tools unless you are recovering yourself with physiotherapy.
Bench pressing with a swiss ball? That's putting a lot of trust in a ball with a pin for an air plug. That is so dangerous. I will even say irresponsible to post.
you are a kenesiologist and you are using a smith machine, how odd is that. You are using a ball which works your core stability, yet you are using a machine that stabilizes and restrict your motion plane and ranges.... hummmm! weird!!!
Not 'kenes' it's 'kin'esoliogist. lol Okay, you try to throw a barbell the way I do it without using a smith machine or a spotter. Don't sew me when you end up in the hostpital with a cracked chest and ribs lol
I have to disagree with you. In a fight for example you are always unbalanced and you must generate power with your full body to get out of weird posito0ns, for that reason I like to train this way in the gym, similar to what BJ penn is doing with the Marinovich brothers. If you only train in a stable linear way you wil only be effecient in those specific angles like a nolympic weightlifter for example
man, that whole concept is so wrong I dont know where to start. You are never on an unstable base so training on one is non specific.More importantly an unstable base automatically reduces force output in prime movers so neither strength nor power are efficiently developed.Lastly you referenced the marinovich bros the greatest clowns known to strength and conditioning,no credible sports scientists takes them seriously.
You re just a hater man. Go hate on someone else's page lol I've been drastically improving my wrestling by training on unstable bases like bosu balls and swiss balls so whatever you tell me don't mean nothing to me since my experience is completly different then what you say
@figthersdreams I could see this helping my training practices. If your buddy billysue2 is looking for a stable base for a med ball substitute google active plateau dynamics. Thanks for posting!
there is nothing weird about using a smith machine for this exercise, if you are trying to throw a b/b up whilst balancing on a swiss ball your crazy cos your probly gonna injure yourself. Sure using a barbell will incorperate synergist muscles but practicality has to come into it somewhere.
Muscle fibers resonsible for anaeorbic muscle contractions ( contractions without oxygens) that generate bursts of explosive power. Sprinters for example

the point is you shouldnt even be using an unstable base if your trying to develope either speed or power.

moswift, you just got owned ;)
I agree figthersdreams, how the hell should one use a free-weight barbell in this exercise when you need to bounce with it
