May I ask what kind of tape you use? So that it doesn't rip up your canvas or leave a residue?

@AutomHatter Hi, thanks for your comments. I use Tiki-Tape masking tape. It is a New Zealand brand. Any good quality masking tape should work, as long as you make sure the paint is completely dry and that the canvas surface is prepared properly.
