deffinely not New York City with all these ppl standing around everyone would be going CRAZY.... Plus the club wouldnt close until 11:00am- have fun in wack detroit-
@jjcassonedynasty It's hard to tell, but the two or so rows of people are about 100 feet in front of me, and at the very top of a huge sea of people all rammed together (in a sloped, acropolis style venue). It was like a war zone near the front - as I was in the mass of it with some friends before giving up and pulling out to the very back where I grabbed this clip. As venues go, the setup in downtown Detroit is actually pretty good - can't think of an equivalent outdoor venue in NYC.
well every weekend in NYC we have a special guest-then our home DJs are world famous and our clubs cant be conpared with maybe miami can compare-But our outdoor club scences are every weekend in the summer of coarse-Some to mention "water taxi club-govenors island throws crazy parties but hey idk detroit....
@jjcassonedynasty Well, I live in Toronto, have lived and been a part of the scene in London, and been to parties in NYC, Detroit, and Montreal. Obviously New York and London are world-class cities (Toronto isn't far behind), but all of these cities have pretty mature scenes and are known to produce global-level talent. This show in Detroit was crazy - and Richie took the same show to Montreal a few weeks ago - also crazy. My little crappy video doesn't do it justice - definitely worth seeing.
i know detroit is the home of techno and nothing will change that but, compared to some of th eparties we have here in zurich this is quite weak, the street parade is amazing, beautiful weather and women and great music, still will have to visit detroit sometime though :)
SO awesome when he projected onto the buildings! I <3 richie and I <3 detroit :) Where else is there to be than where it started?

@tuffsoul - if it's plastikman, than it's a live PA. If it's richie hawtin, then its a dj set.

@svenghal Pretty much everyone is dancing, but as the people closest are so crammed in (think Concert crowd), that it's hard to move.
izod 1 year ago
@svenghal Nor do the people at kraftverk concerts, it`s Plastikman, not Hawtin as a dj. Also, vitamin water might have something to do with it.
