I think Elena had more trouble resisting him here that she'd ever had before. Its obvious why, but she doesn't pull back as he goes to kiss her forehead, even though its not clear where he's going. I think it was mostly shock, but maybe just a little stirring of feelings too. She would have regretted it at this point, but the urge was there. Thumbs up for the slow burn. ;)

Do you guys ever think how it makes Stefan feels knowing that his brother is in love with his girlfriend? How hard it must be for him? He's trying not to start a fight with it and trying to be calm because elena is with him and constantly reassures him "i know damon loves me, but i love you stefan more than anythin"...that's what keeps him going. Stefan wouldn't go after a girl Damon is in a relationship and in love with that girl. Stefan & Elena fell in love with each other FIRST!

I cried when I saw this. When he cried- it was so sad. Everything about this scene is so emotional. It's probably one of the best/saddest scenes between these two. My favorite is when they dance because Stefan is off being some creep. I love this scene though, it makes me love Damon even more.

Why can't the underdog win just once in a great story line. I mean I get Elena loves Stefan and blah blah blah but. But Damon is a loving passionate guy who had his heart broken over and over again over the centuries so why can't he be happy for once. Truely happy! Oh and this scene makese cry!
