WOW - What fun! But I hope that they remember in future that strings on helium released balloons get stuck in marine animals digestion and cause much damage to marine life. So balloon drops are so much better than balloon releases . . . Is this an annual event? It would be great to be there!
1:40-1:43 Anybody notice the little girl taking some of the balloons?, yet the rest of the crowd were happy to just burst them all, they should have gave the rest,if not allof the balloons to the little girl if nobody wanted them, Shame there are too many selfish bastards in the world.

@ram666ram i really love turkey, have worked in Istanbul for 4 years and love the city and its people. my comment had nothing to do with offending the Turkish people per say, rather than the political leaders over there as well as the political situation. Hope Erdogan does something REALLY reforming now with the 23 articles. Good luck, sorry if you felt offended.
@poulman mate if you really think that Erdoğan doing huge reforms and improving human rights in Turkey well you are wrong he is really turning Turkey into an islamic dictotarship.Right now we have huge a clash in Turkey between the goverment (islamists) and army ,deep state and judgement system...
@ram666ram extreme islamism or kemalism can never work, and i'm sure you agree. extremes never work. all i can do is wish all the best to you people, really. good luck.
I feel Turkey is tightly controlled by the patriarchs and the population is living with the left-over forms of symbolic capital, very uncivilized. Turkey is not a liberalist country, the partiarch has just imposed the Western market model on rural citizens, who never had opportunities. The culture has been created by the elite and it is not very civilized and nice. It is a hybrid of rural tradition and Industrialism, where the traditions are severily conditionalized and patronized.
@teemuruskeepaa when it comes to political analysis, you shouldn't rely on feeling but rather on thinking based on information. few of your "feelings" are well grounded; maybe making them a good starting point for reading but they generally lack hell a lot of insight and information.
@eozgurk I also feel I don't like the Turks. There are commonly bad habits among them, they threaten, murder, abuse, rob, are aggressive and impulsive, do not understand human rights, react to disagreement with violence, their politics is full of money-laundering. And I am able to induce that the reason for all this is the paternal autocracy in Turkey. Turkey probably is the result of ripping the rural Turks of their rural traditions and putting them under a mock-up nation state by force.
@eozgurk by force I mean than Finland was created the same way by the autocrats of Helsinki, they created nationalism and social consensus through careful indoctrication and stability. Turks just crudely formed the same system without ever appeacing the population, leaving them to rot in the new market economy and social unequality.
like a huge mess!
