@twizy123 - I'm sorry, logitech wouldn't think of sending me any items to review just yet, as I'm sure I get too little attention on YouTube for that sort of thing.
I can only hope that with more subscribers, and views, that bigger companies will start thinking about sending me out some review items. :)
Nice review. I've got the same unit (as a gift) and it has managed to control everything. The only thing thats weird for me is that my 32" TV's power on/off function has appeared in the illumiated screen area so it takes me a few clicks to get to it. Thats kind of annoying but other than that, its worked great and its holding a charge for a really long time. I'm amazed actually.
just because I'm on my way to buy a logitech Harmony, could you explain me the differences between this model (555) and 525? It is only the colour (orange vs blue) or there is something else??
I believe that the 555 is just a refresh in design. I'm not sure but I think the 555 is just the newer version of the 525. It's made of slightly nicer materials (back has a soft - touch finish) and two extra buttons. ( Mute and Prev [ious] )
In reality, the 525 also has Mute and Prev(ious) buttons, but they are occupied by Picture and Sound buttons on the 555. These are actually only available on the 555. What they do is allow you to reconfigure your entire command (all keys) under the same activity. So, if you have an activity called Play DVD, you configure the remote to control your DVD player, and also your TV (by pressing Picture) and also your home theater (by pressing Sound). 3 controls in one activity
@nelbr@nelbr I have to admit, I didn't know about the physical layout. But, the remote controls all of the devices in the activity without pressing Picture or Sound first. I use the Picture and Sound buttons to sub-divide my activity options on the screen for easier access to them.
That´s correct. But bear in mind that some times, it is hard to have all commands in a single setup, ie, without pressing Picture or Sound. My main use is for the navigation wheel. If you want to navigate through both a "DVD Menu" and a "TV Menu", you need to either assign the wheel under Picture to the TV controls, or try to configure the TV arrows under different buttons, which is quite cumbersome.
It certainly can, I've yet to know of anything with an iR port that it can't control.
(Just making sure you know that this control will only control an iPod or iPhone if they are in a iR enabled dock. i.e. Apple universal dock, or any iPod dock which ships with a remote control.)
can you review the harmony 666? :D

Does it have a sleep-timer function? And if not, it's possible via the remote.. with the code thing you explained in the video, right?

@RRRicard0 - Yes, it would be an on-screen button.
