  • The Pogues also did a very interesting take on this and Miss Otis Regrets. Love em or hate em, you gotta admit that their inspirations are classic and true.

  • Thanks Edwin - generous as always. My distant vocal tutors included Sarah Vaughan and Billy Eckstine but as I was a callow youth in fifties UK we were just like passing strangers.
