i try to use lsmaker for my computer. it works just fine but when i press import that works fine too but then i go into my documents and find a video i made on windows movie. when i import that nothing happens. i know that text is supposed to show up in the big white box but it doesnt. any ideas?

go to the LS maker website and click LS maker on the side then scroll to the bottom of the LS maker part and there should be yellow letters that say lightning7 download that to get it

I can't get avi to work, I import it, but it doesn't show up, also when your on the import screen it shows a bunch of characters 0:39 it doesn't show anything for me.

So my computer gives me a ton of crap over my videos. It tells me I'm violating an adress with a big number that consists mostly of zeros. But it handles pictures just fine. Any thing I can do to fix that?

When I hit the export to AVI, my computer freezes and I have to go to Task Manager to stop, so I can use my computer again. (It does it with LSText too...)

@tyyou9 go to windows movie maker (you should have it) make a video and play it. in your video box, there will be 2 arrows with 2 lines on each. start from the begining of the video and click the arrow once forward. at the bottom right of your video box, you will see a camera. click it then save it. continue to do so with each frame. open lsmaker, and import them in. then work frame by frame.

to export, click avi's. hit end on 2nd box. keep clicking ok. import back to wmv, half the speed

Love the tutorial thanks! WHen I export the vid, and load it up on Windows movie player, it only shows 3 secs... I chose the Microsoft video one and chose to have the whole video shown... All other compressor options give me an error message... I couldnt pass my videos so I had to pass them through Movie maker to convert them to AVI format... Any ideas? thanks!

@Zeroprobabilityvids i think it speeds the speed x2. if you want to slow it down, import it to windows movie maker, go to effects, and add the slow down half. it should be about 6 secounds(im hoping thats how long your vid was) then export it

I have not yet found a way to save a project that works what i do is just leave LS maker open... it doesnt slow your computer down at all. LS maker only works on AVI movies and u can export them in three different formats

@ everyone who uses LS sound for the lightsaber sound effects, read this: when i putted the sounds in my movie i want to export it to Wav. When i play it with windows media player it is a version of the sounds but then in a speed version.+ i dont even have images . only some quick noises. can anyone help me???

When you make the lightsaber, to the right of where you change the color of the saber, there is a box with a zero in it. Click on it, then click on the 1. It makes the lightsaber look better.

no it doesn't but if your using windows movie maker you can take the orignal movie clip and move it down to the sound track line. you might have to do some splicing of the clip to make the sound right but thats how u put sound back into the movie clip

sorry dude but the first part of the video where u first made the saber wasn't all that great, you should ave rendered your colors by clicking the 0 to the right of the colors and changed them both to 1

I really don't the answer to that, I think the problem might be that kodak isn't installed on your computer or you can export it as I do which is export it as uncompresed
