  • Down with the bay dredgers! Death to the enemies of Islam!

  • was at that protest

  • Im with chickenmary - a lot of you obviously don't know all the issues involved here. Long term economic benefit but for who? What about all the local and direct community who are suffering economically from this. There is so much development and more has to be focussed on the environmental impact of this. Peter Garrett past this decision to further his political future and his release on the issue was really flawed. Know your facts - its too easy to criticize 'greenie' what a cop out!

  • not much green wedgies can do besides blow it up or something muwhaahhahahahaha

  • chickenmary ....now calm down, take ya medication, I have some news for you, the green wedgies have lost the battle, and bay will be be dredged, I have just had a fantastic day and this has topped it off!

  • so sad there are so many FUCKWITS who dont give a shit , you clearly dont know what permanent damage the dredge will do. braindead losers !!!

  • It's nice to hear there dredging the bay, those constipationist should be forced to help dredge it, get em shoveling the contaminated mud and rock, work em hard, whips and chains even there children!... only get 1 bowl of rice a day and they have to drink the water from the yarra river. hehe

  • last bits not cool man i hate the dredging as much as everyone else but thats to far

  • Greenies/ left wing hippy whiny scumbags who protest about anything = anti development fuckwits. were getting left behind here. look at Dubais dredging and all the islands theyve created. Thats what this country should be aiming for!

  • Why are all these people smiling? If this is the disaster they claim, shouldn't they be affecting a head tilt with tears.

  • Thanks! I've been plagued by insomnia for weeks now. What sweet, sweet release!

  • Uh... Good luck at the Grammys.

  • Bloody hell, my ears are bleeding. I guess the idea that a bunch of feral retards with a video camera and song that sounds like a donkey being murdered slowly with a spoon can change the world was false after all. Thank fuck for that. And as someone who uses the bay more than most of you sanctimonious fuckwits ever will I can tell you it always tasted like shit. Two weeks after they've finished no-one will notice and it will be business as usual. But nice try, LOSERS!

  • you guys make paint drying sound exciting

  • This mildly curious norteamericano doesn't immediately see what the fuss is. I don't like to form snap judgements about things I don't know anything about: who will post a link to some background on this issue?

  • Amazing, then dredging is all but completed, then we would be wondering what the fuss was all about!

The Bay is pretty shit as it is! Why don't you relocate Melbourne so it doesn't affect the Bay either!

  • Hey Mr Milo!

    You are my man!

St Kilda and it's council needs dredging pretty bad, because it is full of SHIT!

    Dredge St Kilda please!

  • Dredge geelong too!

  • Oooohhhh No!

It would be very bad if dredge Geelong!

It would bring all the hydrocarbons accumulated on the bottom of Corio Bay!

At least if they dredge St KIlda, we all know ONLY shit (plus a few bodies) would be bought up!

I would love for the dredge to suck a few greenies, I suppose we can call it "Feeding the Fishes"!

  • gre0014 .....you protesters are making Melbourne like bad, you actually making the city look like its full of trouble makers, the lengths you people go to is disgusting. I do live in Melbourne and want to see the city grow and prosper and most importantly seeing people in jobs, thats how I see it!....I'm not the one showing myself on tv and making myself look like a hypocrite.

  • i wonder where you live tho, going by what your saying i imagine you live in the city, smog, pollution. no real fresh air. when was the last time you actually used the bay for what its actually worth, in a way i agree with you, jobs are incredibly important, hundreds of jobs that depend on the natural environment that is the bay. i wonder the last time you actually saw the diversity and amazing life under the water. compare the lengths we go to to save it, to the ones you go to to dredge it.

  • you people are making the city of Melbourne look bad!

  • your pathetic, if you live in melbourne you should be completely and utterly ashamed of yourself. as far as im concerned blue wedges and any other organization against the dredging of the bay should be praised as much as possible. your the one making melbourne look bad.

  • gre0014 ....the dredging will be completed and you and your so called friends will be made to feel very small. I bet your the type that belives in all the climate change garbage!...funny thing is summer has turn here in Melbourne, the scaremongers in the electronic media are not scaring people on the news each night at the moment!
