Debs is the most sympathetic character on the show. She's got the genuine good heart and works extremely hard to accomplish tasks and achieve her goals. We watch her go from vice to now Lieutenant and she still gets the most shit. Went through like what four guys? One that died tragically and one that was the Ice Truck Killer. Shit she's got it rough.
