  • Excellent video to learn but i have little problems with flopy Drive with windows 7

when i copy only documents it copy easily but if i try to copy any picture or any picture

with including documents its give me Error....i/o device error so plz let me know why..

  • The floppy has very limited capacity (only 1.44MB). Most HD pictures will exceed the floppy's limited storage ability, so you will not be able to save them to a floppy. Flash drives because of their higher storage capacity have become a better and more reliable storage device. However, when storing pictures you might consider CD or DVD for longer term storage. CD and DVD and flash drives are good for about 5 years so you should check them from time to time to insure the device isn't failed.

  • @frenchge ...........thank you very much to get a time and reply but just when i was reading your message

i did exactly the same things when i check out the pic property it was about 135 kb...and kb is so small but

still it says Error .......i/o device error..........0x8007045D.....this problems come also with any documents

come with graphically the same Erros show...........

  • Bad floppy or bad drive...

  • At 1:26. Is that a BTX MoBo?

  • No...ports and pci slots would need to be reversed for btx.

  • Implementation of various I/O and memory buses is the job of the chipset designer and unless the technician is going to do board level repairs, they will not need to know other than those they will be dealing with in a practical situation. There are more types of memory--example--laptop ram modules and the different forms of DDR, as well as server ram that uses buffered ECC for fault tolerance. The memory types and sockets are more important that north / south bridges (board level repairs).

  • This stuff is easy. For me at least. I got hired as a in store tech with no certs or anything. Either you know it or you don't.

  • CAN YOU USE THE HARD DRIVE AS RAM

  • @mongolico90 no, the hard drive is way too slow to keep up with the CPU's processing. However, there is something called a "page file" in which the hard drive "holds" some information so the CPU can focus on other applications and load them

  • thanks for these

  • i want to ask a question i really want to get into computer technician etc and I'm applying for a job in a computer store near my house is this a good idea to pull out of school and do a full time apprenticeship course

  • Maybe or maybe not. Your education is important and will the store help if you decide to go back? Apprenticeships usually include schooling or education. Certifications is what most employers want today and will the store help with certs? I would says it depends on a lot of things. Good luck...

  • @frenchge they will send me to tafe and get me up cert 4 maybe higher

  • Thanks man

  • You're very welcome...Greg
