I have Hardy and i made decision that i'm not gonna update it to Ibex. Why to make this kinda change if you current distro is working great. Some who has made another decision has faced some problems with drivers etc.
Of course there are good new things for Ibex but i didn't want take a risk. I've just one computer if i had another i'd surely have installed Ibex.
Ubuntu 8.10 not working @ all. I trying to install it and after all said and done I get error code 22? I checked the disc for errors and there where none.
Will installing it carry over any settings or programs from while I was running the Live CD?

Can you still go to your regular computer settings like internet messenger and stuff. Do you just need to take out the disk?

yeah you need 2 partitions on 1 hard drive and then you can dual boot giving you the choice to run windows or Ubuntu when you startup your PC
