Some people may like to switch back and forth between phones now and then theres nothing wrong with have 2, 4 or 10 phones. I know Ive had 4 at one time nokia n95, Iphone, Samsung eternity and another phone.. If i got bored with one Id switch out. Besides if they can afford it I think it's there decision to do so anyways

When you hold down the power button, the actual phone function turns off. But the planner or PDA of the Centro can still remain on.

I have a Treo 650 and it is the same way, won't turn off unless you take the battery off. I shaved off the little plastic tabs on the battery so I just flip it around when I want the phone off.

You can download them I believe directly on the phone if you have a data plan, or download the apps on the computer, and have the computer sync the apps onto the phone

yeah i really wanted this phone in blue and i fell in love with it and its touch screen rilly threw me for a loop. but i went to the store and actually held it and saw the keys. are they too small to text on??

They are pretty awkward in the beginning, but like the iphone. You get use to it, and I must say that I'm faster on this phone than on the touch screen keyboards.

There is two different versions of this phone. CDMA and GSM, the GSM model uses sim cards, and you can buy it unlocked form Palm's website.

unfortunately the Centro does not have Wifi, but the Verizon version of the Centro can connect to the high speed EV-Do network.

Thanks, for some reason it's really nice to use the Palm OS even though I really do love the Iphone OS. I guess you say you get the best from both worlds. I really do love the Palm OS even though its starting to show its age.

Yes, I'm not sure the support is built into the device, but there is definitely applications that open PDF files.

I've never been a fan of the Motorola Q's because when they were released for verizon, it was plagued with a lot of issues and it runs Windows Mobile. Not that I have anything against Windows Mobile, but I think it might be a hassle synching it with my mac.
