Same here madtv007. When I was a child I was used to listening "Holiday" before I even knew Madonna. I didn't know Madonna sang Holiday until I found youtube. I used to thought she was a slut. But now I see much deeper into her persona.

At the very very beginning,but darling no one stays at the top of their game for 25 years by luck or in fact coincidence....Madonna was at the right place at the right time,however so were many others,for example cyndi lauper and blondie..Too keep the artistic flame burning you need passion,passion,and passion.Something Madonna has endlessly.

I was so jealous that my sisters got to see her in New Haven, CT during the Virgin Tour, but I was too young (6). My older sister was 16 and my other 13 so they drove down to New Haven with a whole bunch of friends. We didn't live far from New Haven at the time so my Dad sat in his car not far from my sisters car and kept an eye on them when the concert was over because he thought they would be mistaken for hookers or be robbed, he's a loving father.
