Screw this man, I don't care how some people disagree this show looks nothing like Code Geass. This show is definitely based off of Code Geass. After episode 18, there are some similar traits about this show you can't deny.

@Chunmeista CODE GEASS MOMENT INDEED. DO I HEAR ANYONE SAY "SHIRLEY" XD. I can still hear lelouch awful scream. On another note: Sunrise studio trademark is that single scream, they always have it in any mecha-related anime. For reference see Gundam Seed and especially Gundam seed Destiny (Shinn Asuka's episode 1), Code geass, Macross Frontier, and now Guilty Crown. Its so cliche I describe it in detail. XD

yea. the artwork, animation, and music are amazing. But the show itself. Too many unanswered questions, too many gaps in the story, It goes too quick? Literally obliviously a rush job. They could really have taken their time to make this an amazing show. I like it, but too many flaws. The ending.... auugh. just... w/e.

@StormofBladeZ I feel I should inform you that the story isnt over yet. Supposedly it will be 22 episodes, and I also hear talk of it getting a second season with 22 additional episodes. So it's hardly what you could call a rush job in that respect.

I do hear you on the story advancing pretty quickly, but thats actually one of the things I like about it. Its like if you miss an episode, you miss a lot. Code Geass was alot like that too, and that was wonderful.

I cant wait till thursday when the next ep gets subbed, that and Mirai Nikki (I whole heartedly suggest seeing it if you haven't)

acutally i think this anime was really good i just think the story and characthers needs more work to do and they make this series short to see the response of anime fans if they want the series to go on and make the story much better. Perfect example of this is Durarara!, they only made it becuase fans demanded a second season. so if enough fans of guilty crown demand season 2.. they could actually do it :)

Its just not what you would expect of the partnership. I still watch this anime every now and then.
