Well I have no problem with it. Notice the dot in the center of the laser. If the laser's range two away contains the dot, it will skip over the one right next to it. The point is getting the range of the laser just outside that of the laser's dot two away.

@OJJVZ and ohyeah doesnt work like it should, if you don't do it to the pixel it won't work, 99 out of 100 times my chain works, just when im at the piece where I sit and wait 10 run trough for no reason

so... this is quite a crappy walktrough since there is no way in hell anyone could do EXACTLY what you did, this is not a good strategy

It's a perfect walkthrough. You are missing something. Gewalt has given you a simple process to get to wave 400 on Hard. If you can't follow this process, you should find another game to play, because you will never make it with advanced laser chaining.

Are you sure that each laser in the chain can only "see" one laser behind it? To check, highlight the laser, click Link, and look at the "Link With" list. There should only be two lasers listed, the one in front and the one behind it.

@mbsl5 no I did it like he did there, but if you don't do it on the pixel perfect, 1 wont link and the whole point is useless, suddenly they all run to your base. I had it working but after a phew hundred monsters it just decided to stop linking properly, its a heavy game that isn't stable enough to do something this precise. That was the point i was trying to make.

In theory it works like a charm. And i'm sure there are also 100s of persons for who it works, but not hereon first tries...

@MATUXAZ Of course you can, and this is a terrific simple strategy. Just because you're not smart enough or careful enough to follow the instructions doesn't mean the strategy doesn't work.

I got 8439 kills, doing nothing different than what he said, other than adding a few more lasers to the end of the chain, and then filling the rest of the screen with Dmg mods.

Laser chains will ultimately take you past wave 2000 when you get it down. It takes practice to get good at it. Don't be so lazy

@wishblades2000 Yes. The damage from the last laser multiplies by 1.25 then gets past to next to last laser. Next to last laser adds his own damage. Then on to the next laser, which multiples that total by 1.25 and adds his damage. etc. etc. Each link multiplies the previous damage by 1.25. That's why you should spend your money upgrading the last lasers. As you move closer to the front, upgrading makes less and less difference.

- I added a few taser turrets just to slow them down in the beginning (lvl 50 to be exact) cause the laser chain works fairly slowly and i didnt want to lose lives.

- placed 13 taser turrets (maxed) on the bottum side of "lyne" as backup (but never used)
