To all of you that praise the Cuban Fidelism, move there & live there as the Cuban people, NOT the Fidelism elite & come back here & tell us what you think. For someone to praise something that they have never experienced is absurd. Something in theory can be VERY different from the reality. I moved to the US from Cuba & don't see how it's kept me down. As long as I'm willing to work hard I can make a living for myself & my family. I don't expect easy or free, I expect opportunity & I have it!
I am NOT brainwashed as I DID live in Cuba. So tell me your experience when you lived in Cuba. or I may have to believe that you are the one brainwashed by the Castro propaganda. Please share your experience living in Cuba & I would have to think you still live there because why would you leave "paradise"????
anaelena ----- I did not nor do live in CUBA. But i have been there before. I saw a wondeful SOCIALIST PARADISE! All the people i met are thankful to FIDEL. People there are all happy with smiles on their faces. I am a SOCIALIST believer. FIDEL is a great leader and Revolutionary!
oh, you've been there, it has to be true. All those people can be SO honest with how they really feel. Do you think for one minute I or ANY of my family say what we really feel while in Cuba? Even today when we speak on the phone we know how to say things to communicate without saying anything against the system. Talk about being brainwashed & believing FIDELISM. Castro swapped one super power for another. He's made up the rules as he goes along to sustain him NOT the people. The last thing Fidel wants is for the embargo to be lifted as he likes NOTHING more than to blame the US for ALL of Cuba's economic issues. Sorry you feel that way about the US. However the US hasn't brainwashed me. I lived under oppression in Cuba, came to the US learned English, went back to school & got my degree. I'm not rich & don't hold it against those that are. In Cuba I had my education & NOTHING else. While the Fidelistas lived like kings I couldn't feed my children & had no hope. Here I can provide for my family, own a modest home & gave my kids a chance to suceed. That in my book is equality & justice!
