  • point the camera at your guitar next time so the guitarists can learn.. that way someone like me will watch it 30 times and you'll get more hits.. but since we can only see your face i will look elsewhere.

  • @glycoboy Thanks... my intention was not to teach anyone anything, but just to get me on YouTube singing this song!

I may re-record and re-post this in the near future and show the guitar and my hands

  • Awesome!

    Greetings from Germany♫♪♫

  • It's been over 2 years since your last post! We need MORE!!

  • I never feel like bothering with video anymore. I wish I had some whiz kid around that could tape me and then take care of everything, but alas, I don't!

  • awesome job man, great song, great version

    Tom

  • Thanks!

  • good job. you kinda look like brian wilson from the beach boys.

  • Thanks! Never heard that one before, but I'll take it!

  • very sweet good joob

  • I do not advise you to power-up your voice. Your voice is like that at the time being and to force something on it does not better your intonation. Before applying more power, I would work on intonation and once this is on good level I would work on the voicelevel. There is no law which says every voice must be loud. Your voice is beautiful even if it is a bit faint, but remember Donovan for example...he sold more records than we both together....So don't give up....go your own way.

  • what a nice, sad tune. I love the minor chords and the light voice over them. great!

  • Thanks, Saoff...this is quite a while ago, I think my voice is getting stronger

  • I like it! :) Its nice.. great!

But a little bit more power, thats fine ;)

    bye good luck

    MrJangles92

  • Thanks, I agree -- more power. I sing it somewhat better now

    5*

  • Thank you -- love all your Townes material

    Rocket

  • i think this is awesome rick i really enjoyed your vocals and guitar sound was fantastic 5 stars from me my friend******************

  • Thanks Steven...you're very generous!

  • sounds great rick...great choice of songs...very tender...great to see you back

  • Thanks Jon...I got an easier recording setup on a faster computer. Video or audio may not be as good, but the camcorder was an obstacle. Trying to get back in the swing of things. Also trying to do stuff other than Neil, although Gil tells me the guitar has that Neil sound.

  • The sound and video quality on this is superb! I thought that the vocal started out shaky but then smoothed out by the second verse. Your guitar playing on this was really great too! I really like your style of singing, it conveys real feeling!

Let's have more! Don't wait so long between posts.
