We were in Kentucky in 2004/5 and stayed in a logcabin just outside Frankfort. We were wakened some nights about midnight when a freighttrain passed by and shook the cabin - i thought it was brilliant!!

Nice video. I hear from the video that this crossing has the fake ding. I like the real thing. Not many crossings still have them. That second train was really rocking the camera. Glad it didn't blow it over.

Hi @whatihave2do, Thanks! that ding and the wail of the UP, the sound of America!!! Got to admit i can't tell! I had to borrow a tripod that was a bit light so had to hold on the camera as the Up whizzed by! Someone has pointed out the third train ran a red, any ideas, seemed to be braking into the corner! Happy new year!
