To me, Tuomas's lyrics are the main reason I listen to Nightwish. They are so poetic! Tarja knew how to bring them, and they both lost a bit of their 'magic' without each other. Lots of people like Tarja and lots of people like Anette. It's a matter of taste, but firing Tarja is a tough decision the guys made a long time ago, respect that and move on. Remember that they will always respect each other as artists, but if the relationship was endangering the band's continuity, something had to be done. I'm sure if they hadn't, Marco wouldn't be in the band right now or even they would've probably disbanded after DPP.

Okay, so how they went about firing her was wrong, I'll admit that. But it was something that obviously needed to be done if she (or Marcelo) was the source of their bad feelings. She was with them from the start so I doubt it was an easy task for them. They all look pained in this video. ALL the guys made that hard decision, not just Tuomas. I loved Tarja but she was only 1/5 of Nightwish. I respect their decision to remove the cause of their unhappiness.

@nikimew Well, I'll have to tell to you : there was never any "greed" while Tarja era lasted. They barely managed to earn something from their concerts (like any other band who sell tickets). You should watch EndOfInnocence DvD to see for yourself, best idea. They're far more popular now, they have far more t-shirts now and were on MTV constantly, they have more supporters since Anette Era. Because it's all pop-shit now (sorry for my language).
