Is Esmeralda really 16-years old in this version? She is young - Esmeralda tu sais tells that she is now adult (?) and should understand that men could hurt her, but how old is young adult? And wasn´t Julie only 17 when she played teen-aged Fleur? Very appropiate.

@PlusSizeAngel Actually, in the book Esmeralda is 16 and Fleur de Lys 15 (I'm not sure about Fleur de Lys) but in the middle ages, girls were married very soon, sometimes at the age of 14, so Esmeralda is a "woman" now, even if for us, she is still too young. Hélène Segara weren't 16 when she sang the musical, but I think that you're right about Fleur de Lys, she probably is 17 =)

I've listened all the songs in italian and in french, I'm sorry about this because French version is the "original", but the italian actors are too much better. The voices in french are so good too and they heard very well, but I love italian version. In my opinion, this is the only song that sounds better in french than in italian.The actors are too much old (or they look older) in the french version, so italians are better for me. I(L)french version too(Sorry about my english, i'm from spain)

Questa si chiama Hélène Ségara ed è una delle migliori interpreti che abbia la Francia. Direi che Patrick Fiori non provoca certo infarti. Il cast originale ha portato al successo la comédie musicale di Plamondon e Cocciante. a mio avviso non andava fatta una versione in italiano, si è perso molto.
