yes i was going to get a canon 60d. Than someone told me to get a canon 5d eos. Now someone told me to get a canon 1dx. Please anyone could help me out. Im trying to take nice pictures and do short films. How much is this canon 1dx?

@fortgreene31 The 1dx is going to be their flagship camera. So to answer your question, very expensive.

The movie "Act of Valor" was shot with the 5d mk ii, So you can see this camera is capable of shooting more than adequate video.

If you are considering semi serious video recording from a DSLR, go for the 5dmk2. They sell kits specifically for film and prices will drop soon with the introduction of the 5dmk3
