repentance is BELIEVING on the Lord Jesus Christ...while I agree with some of this video, we are still FLESH, born in Sin...naturally depraved....until we are out of this flesh..we will continue to Sin even in the FAITH.Faith is believing and putting your trust in God and sure we should strive to do right and do good things, but under the continual attack from Satan everywhere you go,how does man, born a sinner and is flesh,do rightly at all times. We cannot save ourselves, only Jesus Christ can
I never said we stop sinning. Repentance is defined as turning away from sin and towards god. Of course a Christian will stumble into sin at times after their conversion. But their ultimate direction should be towards holiness and obedience.
@teemu1381 Jas says Submit yourself to God resist the devil and he shall flee. Satan only has the contol you allow him to have. 1st jn all through out tells us that to know and love him is to obey him. It also says that as believers we cannot continue to live our lives in sin. There are several places by paul, james, Jesus telling that as believers it is more than just words it is our walk.
Go to God in prayer when you're tempted to sin anytime, anywhere. He has the power to help us stop desiring the sin, or to take away the option to sin. He has POWER to help us. I don't have to close my eyes, be alone, have my bible or place my hands in a certain position. It's the freedom we know in Christianity, to see sin for what it is (destruction) and therefore be able to turn away more easily, and to have God's power to keep us from sin if we pray for help. Also love. Joy is strength.
very good point you're making. i can see so many people this applies to, and currently, in some ways, to myself. thanks for posting

you're in exactly the position this guy's video is trying to bring people out of. belief alone doesn't save.
