Johnny has one of the finest voices ever. He could always sing a song just as if he's singing to someone special. That's the way it should be. I have always loved this song and meeting Johnny here back in 1976 when he did a show with Joe Stampley was terrific. Johnny did all of his hits and the crowd didn't want him to leave. We sure do miss this great artist who wrote so many good songs and never let his fans down. Thank you for posting this - Paula
Thanks for posting this hard to find song! I have searched online for this one for YEARS and couldn't find it anywhere. Very rare and one of his best. He is truly missed. Thanks again!!
WOW I tried finding this record when it was popular back in the early 70s never could find it. A local record station had it but I never did find it...what a find right here...thanks to whoeve posted
LOVE this song also! Thanks for posting it. About a year ago a friend found it on LimeWire and put it on a CD for me. However it was from a 45 that was pretty scratched up. This sounds much better.
I want a copy of this song. Cannot find it at a reasonable price. I have alot of great memories attached. Ouida

A great song by an underrated singer. Clark Ranger of KWKY radio Des Moines played this song on his morning show in the 1970's.

Thank you! Thank you! I absolutely love this song and cannot find it anywhere. Napster doesn't have it; no one does.
I search the internet mp3's and find a bio used by many sites that mentions "Hello I Love You" was a hit for him ... so why doesn't anyone have it??
Anyway, thanks for posting it - I haven't heard it in years. Oh, by the way, did I say thank you??? ☺
