I think he is from the Nityananda Parivar, or Family line of Sri Nityananda Prabhu. Yes, a Gaudiya. He wears white because he is a Babaji or a "traditional" Gaudiya. They don't wear saffron. But, I find it interesting that he wears gopi chandan tilak instead of Radha Kunda mud like most all Vraja vasi Gaudiya Babajis.
