how does saute cooking go if you use a ultra high powered gas burner? is there benefit to using these. I have seen chefs use saute pans on wok type burners. the only difference between a wok and frying pan is the shape if it is the same metal.
i'v gained a weird taste for mushrooms the past year and you know....this is amazing! i didnt know they had copper and vitamins in them! yay!!!! now i have a reason other than great taste to love them...im going to go sautee some up =D
there is also a water sauteing technique. its basically frying food in a dry hot pan and adding a teapsoon of water gradually. its a little technique i tried out. its good for cooking things like mushrooms without butter which tend to be very dry when only cooked using small amounts of olive oil. some people might not knwo that adding small amounts of water whilst frying prevents sticking and allows maximum temp without burning or sticking or blackening
@Stormhix I think you might be a little misinformed good sir. It comes from the french term herbe, to pronounce it erb, but it also comes from latin as herba, pronounced herb. So either way is correct
thank you alot for this video, im 15 years old and i did not know how to saute mushrooms and i was currently making a chicken salad and i wanted to add some, so this video very much so did help and i thank you.
This looks like a great recipe! But to me I like to use butter instead of olive oil and some garlic and worchestershire! On my page I have a great recipe too! But great recipe!

@nick2727nick of course traditionally. but that's retarded. it's like not pronouncing the "K" in "Knife" who would know how to spell it?
SASJKL 1 year ago
@nick2727nick H may be silent in your dialect. It isn't in many. And it certainly isn't in the vast majority of English dialects. Grow up!
