I remember this show. It was one of my favorites. Nobody recalls seeing it so thanks for the posting. Saturday morning was great back then. Great to be a kid in those days.
You are definitely right. I do not watch today's cartoons anymore on Saturdays. I would like to see a full classic episode of "The CBS Children's Film Festival" from the 1975-1976 Season over today's garbage. Rest Easy!!
Filmation will always be remembered for having some of the best animation ever. Flash Gordon, Tarzan, and He Man were examples of this. Saturday morning will never be the same without the programs of Filmation. They make me glad that I grew up in the 70's and 80's.
Strange. In my memory of this, that vehicle was the one from Damnation Alley, but it's a completely different vehicle. Made on a bus chassey or something.
This show, and other filmation shows along with it, awakened kids like me (then) to the awesome mysteries and wonders of math, science and technology, especially computers, as they relate to promoting the general health and well-being of our planet. If science is gospel, then long live the Gospel According to Carl!
What ever happened to the Ark ? That thing looked like the coolest, most souped up Winnebago I have ever seen! Would love to know what happened to it.
I'm not sure what happened to most of the Ark, but I do know that the nosecone was used for the Seeker spaceship in Space Academy the following season.
I actually remember watching that show as a kid... it seems so corny now. A lot of those Saturday morning shows were just plain weird... in a creepy way.
Was that the Open Road Rv used in SHAZAM! ?It might be

No the Damnation Alley van was a different vehicle entirely. This was a salvaged, rebuild Winnebago.

ARK II...driving across the land spreading the gospel of Science. Hmmmmm, wouldn´t surprise me if Carl Sagan was behind this.

Yeah, spreading the Gospel of Science... Untill they meet up against Mutants of the Zoopremiscits, and the Red Death!
[Think Gamma World here folks!]

There's Dad's name in the credits. Dale Henry. He actually drove that thing for the shot.
