hahahaha! Oh Charly and Josh :) I like this video, especially with the annotations added.
I have actually known a lot of people in military bands - a lot of the PhD/Music Doctorate students at my school were in such groups. I could never have done it, though, just because of the risk of maybe - someday - having to actually go to war.
And Captain Pain should play 12-tone music on his euphonium. That'll scare them ;)
i thought u spoke in an american accent when u said "drop down and give give me 20 expense accounts right now"..which made me think that its probably easier for u to sound american than it is for americans to sound british...u just have to drop the accent!!
In the army, all new recruits go through 14 weeks of infantry training then after that they can choose what they go into whether it be administration in the offices, musician in the marching bands, IT, etc.
Even the caterers go through basic training? What, so they can just put every man on the front line if numbers are running low? "Our men are dieing! Get the caterer out here! And make sure he doesn't bring the eggs again! Unless they're hard boiled. Those things will leave a bruise."
I had a science teacher with the surname Payne. She was brilliant. I think she might have had a cousin or something in the navy.

If this video had been made in the U.S. it would have started:
"You heard about my friend's brother who tried to stop a bank robber?"
"Oh, no! What happened?"
"They stopped counting the bullet holes in his corpse at 30."

LOL, don't be silly... EVERYONE has an accent... an American has an American accent, Australians have an Australian accent etc.
=)
The reason why Brits can generally do alright American accents is because of the amount of American movies that are blasted around the world.

I think the Army Accountant is the most frightening weapon the armed services have.
They infiltrate the enemy ranks, and start to ruin their finances...thereby destroying their chance to get a mortgage in the future. ^_^

Tubas are pretty huge,
I'd be scared if someone came running at me with one of those. Could probably cause some serious brain damage. o.o
