xD I only thought it was OK because the plot was decent and the music was good for the most part. Yet, my dad thought I had ADORED IT and got it for me for Chirstmas when it came to DVD. *facepalm* I've only watched it once since I got it.

The original version of Hairspray is much worse though. No matter how good the acting is, I just can't get passed the fact that the guy playing Mrs.Turnblad didn't even ATTEMPT to sound like a woman. Travolta simply did it better IMO.
