I would use fishing line, & a very sharp, thick needle tool, to pierce the cardboard backing, the tie the piece down with the fishing line, to the back, of your shadowbox did it properly the whole process is completely hidden by the object you're putting IN the shaddow box.
I'm trying to do this with my College Cap and Tassel, as well as some mementos from the 4 years. This is a great teaching tool. Now I just have to figure out how they anchor the items in the box.
I'd rather buy it. Simpler and about the same cost.
