  • @MarkoMatic369 as an extra note:

    use filezilla for ftp streaming

use ftpii or wiixplorer for ftp on the wii

that is if u dont want to go through the process of sending media to ur usb or sd card.

  • Wow thanks for sharing. :)

  • Yeah Orb sucks. I tried it, very slow

  • What I can't figure out is, if the software is streaming the media from your LAN to the WAN and back to your WAN. If that's the case, this method is terrible. If it's just streaming it on the LAN then it's a good method.

  • i hate his face

  • It looks like Winamp Remote!

  • this is bullSHIT

it makes you stream data from your computer to orb server, and stream it back from orb server to the Wii,

    welcome huge internet bill

    !!!

  • @hdzsound Internet bill??????, umm dumb ass, you pay one price, You must have DialUp....

huge internet bill or not, this method still fucking stupid IMO

  • @hdzsound Lol, maybe if you have broadband where you have a cap... idiot lol

  • @xG33Kx

I have cable internet 30GB cap, for 45$, and we can goes over the cap for 50$ max.

  • FUCK!FUCK!!FUCK!!!FUCK!!!! I Want To Turn My PC Into Wii!

  • @adio310001 go to buildwii.com

  • I'm a little lost. Can you use orb to stream live from sites like Hulu?

  • Too bad there is no real media server application that can be used to stream video from your PC straight to your Wii without going across the internet.

  • i tryed it, my wii nearly had an heart-attack because my internet aint faster enough, my net only runs at 1500k lol

  • 2:52 my wii is black, not white lol

  • Video quality isn't the greatest but hey, it works!

  • This is all good but whats the point of this when it only works if your PC is swiched on ?

how do i use this when my PC is off or on sleep???

  • @ThisisBambi it's really good for me while my desktop pc is downstairs the wii is upstairs and I still want to watch stuff on my desktop but through my huge tv and wii upstairs, without having to burn everything to a disk first

  • I has a white wii but african american wii remotes(black wii remotes)

  • How do you earse your account?

    Sorry for the bad english.

  • omg this is so awesome! =) ive been looking everywhere 4 a program like this thanks

  • Or...The Homebrew Channel. Lot less complex.

  • Wonderful white wii? Thats racist.

    LOLZ haha just kidding.

  • lol they did a rebate on the 500 wii points lol

  • I got the Internet Channel before it was 500 wii points!

  • crape

  • thank you!!!

  • The wii chanel was free for me. and i got it like a week ago. (NO HACK) Someone explain that

  • all channels are now for free

  • uhh yeah about acouple of months ago nintendo changed the wii internet channel for free, and if you purchased it with cash before you get one free 500point games, haha

  • Crap,, you're using your internet bandwidth to access your own files

  • can you stream videos even when your computers off?

  • Just think about that for a second. If your computer is off, where exactly will the videos be streaming from? Thin air?

  • @arcticblue2 Beautiful response :)

  • Nope

  • nope

  • i am using mplayer-ce to stream in divx and avi format. so I am not compromising the quality

  • thanks i tried it befor and then looked here

i should have set it to flash

  • i just want to say thank you very much that really really cool of you .. thanks

  • Comment removed

  • @CookymonsterPwndU

or u can just download the internet chanel for free now and do ths

  • @CookymonsterPwndU Wow, why so many thumbs down? It's a valid option. Although, definitely for more advanced users, and something you shouldn't mess with if you don't want to void your warranty.

  • It's a bit of a fiddle to set up - but I've been using Orb for a couple months now, and I am pretty stoked with it.

If you downloaded the original video / audio from the web - there is no further degradation by streaming over flash / mp3 / whatever.

About 20% of the files that play ok on my pc just won't run on the Wii (and I can't work out why) - but that still leaves a lot of stuff I can now watch in any room in the house.

  • i use winamp remote its made by orb try it out u can log in ith ur orb account

  • Milord, your Wii will stop to work. You're blocking the air pass to the cooler. It should stays in the horizontal position...

  • hahaha I thought the same I was like WTF??why´s the wii upward???:P

  • REALY?

  • i prefer homebrew....

  • i want to save the media onto my wii so this isnt useful to mii

  • Hows the video quality of this on the Wii. I always heard flash streaming degraded it a bit.

  • This guy seems to gloss over the matter of the 500 Wii points. What exactly do these points buy you and for how long? Anyone have experience with this over time? Do you have to keep buying more Wii points? BTW, what exactly are Wiii points?

  • Wii Points are the currency you use to buy things on the Wii online. You buy them using a credit card and then use the points to buy games and apps for the Wii. Its kinda a stupid system(why doesn't Nintendo just let you buy the items directly with a credit card), but X-Box has a similiar system. Once you buy something its yours forever, you don't have to rebuy it later unless you delete from your Wii.

  • even if you delete the game from your wii you can re-download it for free

  • how much american dollars equals 500 wii points?

  • 5 Dollars

  • 5 dollars... each point is equal to one american cent(a penny)

  • OMG i sooo f@#king love the program its very very useful for the nintendo wii thank you for having this video up =)

  • this is somewhat useful..

  • streaming video is a whole lot easier on the Ps3 BTW

  • dude its just as hard on ps3

  • this is streaming from the computer not homebrew

  • So uploading movies to the website would be out of the question, theoretically?

  • is this legal?

  • Yes..

  • No...

  • And how do you figure? You're playing whatever is currently on your computer.

  • Oh, wait he said Legal oh OK i thought he said illegal

  • rent Zelda from blockbuster for 1 week do the hack give it back

  • i have the same problem it makes me mad maybe i can rent it

  • will this save the videos to your wii?

  • no. u have to upload the videos to the website and access to the website using ur wii.

  • ILOVE THE IDEA!!!!!!

  • i cant install homebrew channel.(T▲T) v3.4

  • thanks this worked for me now i can watch videos and listen to music for free

  • WOAH! GREAT FIND!

  • install the homebrew channel and use the "mplayer wii"

  • Yep, this is fucking laggy, why register? Why login? Why not direct access from wii to pc? I hate this fucking sh1t!

  • This looks neat, I'll see how it turns out.

  • wat happens if u do it do u get to download movies and music on your wii and pics ?

  • this is amazing. love it

  • it worked

  • Orb is shit

    laggy as fuck

    quality is sh1t

  • Most of the time it lags but once it didn'nt.

  • It Will Not Download Of The Orb Website It Does Even Come Up With A Page When Clicking Download Now

  • worked 4 me

  • works now lol

  • i bought x-oom media centre for nothing lol

  • if you get it will you still be able to play games?

  • of corse you will thats all in its web browser and itwont void your warrenty!

  • you shouldnt use that - dont open any ports to any unknown company - I think every skilled IT guy would recommend that

  • does it work with th computer off ???

  • No it doesn't.

  • Hi ApFaqTech,

How do you get to manage to play internet radio by following on simple basics? Can it work through shoutcast and icecast under internet radio from orb?, also can it support ogg vorbis?

  • This has on-the-fly conversion and subtitle support? And how is the FPS of that to play on the wii? If its good ill get it

  • im so excicted that im going to poo, this is awsome!

  • yeah i used orb

its okay. This red kawa looks better.

  • Does he say "shit" at 2:33?

  • he said audio shift

  • I was just going to ask the same question at 2:34 he says you can pay "shit" to the WII

  • "Play and Shift to Other Devices".

  • ah,orb,i already knew it,and it isnt as cool as you think.

  • yeah which one do you think is better REdKawa or Orb?

  • neither, i'd go with tversity or weezo, seems that weezo has a better on-the-fly .avi to .flv algorithm than tversity. And weezo seems much more wii friendly also, and has so many features... See some tubes of weezo the FPS and quality of the vids seems very good... i have to try it out by myself to find out i guess, why not kawa? no mp3 or on-the-fly encoding, plus its like 1 year old. Does orb has on-the-fly conversion?

  • i dont think so, but then again.

I havnet used it in a while.

Im having problems gettin TVersity to work.

It says go to the URL and enter my I address at the end but it says its not right.

  • try a few times, i had problems too. I had to deactivate windows firewall. Also, be sure to type your ip then /flashlib at the end in the wii. I tried all the pc streamign software, i have to say that tversity throws the best video quality and decent fps. Just keep refreshing and turning sharing on and off

  • cool
