I think Blemish is Sylvian at his absolute best, and it´s funny how inviting it is to make your own mixes from the sparse arrangements on that album. I made one myself a while ago from a very different angle. You´ve done very well with this.

I absolutely love this mix and spent ages trying to find what CD the mix was from. I've just read these comments and am gutted to hear that I cant! Well done - better than the original version. I've been a fan of Sylvian for years and think he's a genious. I didn't like much of Blemish though, some of it was unlistenable and I await the day that he releases something as good as SOTB again.

i never heard this version. i hear the original on Blemish. I liked Blemish but it needed a producer to make the tracks less introspective and more accessible. I think whoever did this version has done just that.

david sylvian is one of the worlds true genius..the man is jus amazing..those lyrics,the music and that voice that stays in your head forever..he is gettin better as he ages..i seen him in concert olympia theatre 2001 dublin and was jus blown away..the man got 3 standing ovations and was clearly moved by the audience and said so and that he woild return..so im goin to see him again in dublin sept 12th and jus cant wait...thanks david for all the wonderful and magical music
