  • @missiekoko I like the traditional way of doing it because the pieces of papaya are usually bigger :) omnomnom hehe

  • how to do you make fresh plah rahh?

  • @chingychao Instructions from my mum:

    1. 500g of (any) small non-poisonous river fish lol.

    2. Add 60g of salt to the fish and mix, then keep in air tight container for 1 week.

    3. Get 1 tablespoon of sticky rice and 'burn' it until it's brown in a wok or pan (no oil) (it's called Khao Kua).

    4. Beat it in a 'Bok Bok' (Pestle and Mortar) until it's powder-like.

    5. Mix Khao Kua with the fish, then leave it in the air tight container for 3 months.

    6. Then it's ready to eat!

  • when you put lime skin in it, it makes bitter

  • @toskevhlub yup, my mum likes it bitter and/or she was too lazy to squeeze the juice and remove the lime skin :)
