  • Piss off Labour, Australians dont want you ,and take you pathetic leader with you and dont come back.

  • this Gillard is the most incompetent, disliked and unsuccesful PM ever. Time to go lady, wake up to yourself no one wants you, you arrogant bitch!

  • Most of the rioters are whiter than my arse - don't look much better either. Haha.

  • Fuck off Julia, you're not wanted bitch.

  • why does our world have to be like this?

  • @Turtlewhisperer100 Mate the answer is quite complex but at the end of the day it is GREED, the same goes for illegal immigrants who risk everything to get to Oz!

The finacial rewards offered to those who are lazy or whinge ensure that people will always want to get something without effort.

I too would like to get money for nothing, its just the way humans are.

The problem also comes from cryers/druggos/do gooders wanting to give people something for free to make themselves feel good!

  • Aus's economy is more directly related to China than the US. A good thing to as China will be overtaking the US economy within the next 5 years. We are one of the few unaffected by the GFC. America is one of the few nations allowing it's citizens to bare arms and has the highest crime and murder rates amongst civillians. In Australia, murder is a rarity. Guaranteed if we became gunslingers tomorrow, our crime and murder stats would sky rocket. Guns do kill people as they provide opportunity.

  • Without the black man and woman there won't have been any white person on this earth. The black man and woman made you and your kind 6,000 yrs ago. We are your fathers and mothers. We allow you to rule on our planet for 6,000 yrs and that time has come to an end. This is why you hear people say "THE WORLD IS COMING TO AN END." It's the white man's world that is now ending, his power and ideas by which he rules has come to an end. YOU ARE OUR BASTARD CHILDREN.

  • @shawnkwill LOL

  • @shawnkwill White man evolved from black man. Black man didn't birth us or allow us to do anything. White man is much older than 6000 years. The only people I hear say that "the world is coming to an end" are obviously deluded nutjobs like yourself. The fact about black man is that they have not succeeded to create a society or evolve to the point of sustainability anywhere on the planet. Without white man. Every black man would still be digging in the dirt. Be thankful for your opportunities.

  • @snyperdoc1 You again... Teo's racist speech didn't go down as you hoped!

  • Good im glad roit police punched that sand nigger in the face

  • @jsot101 yes, and Ill bet you will be proud of yourself the day your kid gets his jaw broken by some brain dead terrorist cop too... what a guy, and what a supporter of state sponsored domestic terrorism you are... a typical "proud ozzy"and as thick as 3 planks...

  • And who tiped off the tent embasy where they were ??????

  • @jazzysnaps Kim Sattler, union fuckhead.

  • Just like Boomerang baby,,,, Wack,,,,, conciousness...

The Eagle Has Landed......... I love 2012 so much already... !

  • Aboriginals with spears, man, that was so creepy view

  • i watched this and cringed, i am from SA and there is a lot of actions that were wrong from the protesters and cops, i definitely don't like the fact that the Aussie flag was burnt, that was uncalled for! AND yes i am Aboriginal, most South Aussies are disgusted by the video, so don't make it all about ALL Indigenous!! stop painting us all with the same brush

  • Some pretty foul comments on here. Don't hate protestors for questioning the system and respecting a heritage culture. Your corrupt puppet government is damaging far more people than the Aborigines ever will. Feel free to think for yourself when ready.

  • haha keep pressing 5

That stupid protestor got what he deserved , what a sickening display shown by the protestors .

Even their own actual aboriginal indiginous Elders are saying these protestors bought shame on the aboriginal people .

I dont like gillard but this is ....

Dicusting behaviour and they should appologise to the PM

  • WHAT A STRAIGHT LEFT !!!!

  • ayooooooo broooo sniff if da petrol BRAH

  • Dorothy in the wizard of oz. Is she wearing her ruby slippers?

  • british go home ...4 free australia

  • @redstar57 It's actually the Brit's country and has been for a while now. Does your "Brits go home" comment include all the 'halfcasts' that usually have more white heritage than black anyway? A true Aboriginal is rare these days only numbering into the tens of thousands. Australia's a pretty big continent for a race that couldn't fill a stadium. Just because they were here for a long time before the Brit's doesn't mean it's their country. Any race can sit in the dirt for 100000 yrs.

  • @13eyeofthebeholder kill them all then ... its easy.. u got the guns and the power .. and doit in a stadium after a ragby game

  • you know i love aborigine people i was brought up with real aborigines, not these made up ones that dont know what race they really are, your either white, or your either black which race do you belong too. some time you halfcast people ashame the real black people.these words comes from an elder's mouth. the real aborigine people are lovely people, they have great stories to tell and we should be looking after them and not the boat people first. im a fifth generation aussie and proud of it.

  • massive overe reaction by the pigs, but what would one expect? And all you cunts making ignorant comments about our black brothers and sisters - i hope ya burn urself on ya fuckin barbie

  • @cromlek I didn't see many black faces in that crowd. What I did see was a bunch of white people dressed in ethnic fucking tie dye moonchild clothes threatening an elected representative of the people.

  • @samuraifoo cry me a fucking river, go run to her help/aid then big boy...

  • @jarrahEmarginata I liked the bit where the cop smacked your dickhead mate in the face.

  • @cromlek Where'd you be without us white people? Diggin in the dirt no doubt ya fuckin coon

  • @chrispsackett i am a white fella - ya stupid mug LOL :)

  • @chrispsackett Well at least we have a Cheese named after us,,, WTF have u got!

  • @cromlek and then Ken steals Barbie camper van and oozies them all,, Drive by style..

I can see it... thanks Sis.

  • i bet you that cop will be disciplined for jeopardizing his prime minister and causing an unneccessary scare and embarrassment to the office of pm. Heads will roll. In the US this cannot be tolerated. And if someone can point a camera to the pm's face/car at close range unchalleged then they can point a glock or uzi or whatever. ... EPIC FAIL.

  • Fucking retards

  • all they do is sniff paint and complain. take some responsibility

  • @Nykt1000 who does? ah yeah well wudjulah's---they got some big problems that mob you know?----sad really----

  • @Nykt1000 all you do is talk shit.

  • The way I see it, is that change does need to occur. However, the way we bring about change should be done patiently, and with compassion to all needs. That is the change that we need, less fighting, less violence. We should all grow up a little and stop protesting with violence. That is.. If you want to get anything done anyways. If you truly want change, you will have to create it with your hearts, not your minds. The mind is easily distracted, the heart has one goal. The focused goal is more.

  • @astralshift17

Total war and Unbridled Peace sounds a tad like extremism to me.

How does anything that has happened indicative of the intellect or education of those involved?

It screams passion, desperation, frustration and disenchantment to me.

  • @VeloceManiac For the reasons alreay put forward. The educated and/or intellectual know that this is not the way to get what you want. It just makes people more dismissive of any actual reasonable argument you may have.

  • @VeloceManiac I am not saying that this is how they are. I spent days at the occupations in America, I know that many brilliant minds are participating. I am just saying that this is how it appears to the outside.

Peace is the best answer, Ghandi had a fulfilling personal life, as well as a great legacy all because of peace. I don't like war, it is a horrible thing. I wish it did not exist, but it isn't that way sadly. I am not trying to insult, just giving an outer opinion.

  • @astralshift17 Im American, when our rights were threatened by the British, changing hearts didnt do a damn thing. You cant stop tyranny with hugs. Grow some balls. Violence is perfectly appropriate. You Aussies of all race are in serious trouble if violence makes you feel icky.

  • @Jononutoob I am American as well. But I really believe that peace is the best way to win. Violence may get it done faster, but it also ruins more lives than necessary. Sure, being peaceful in this time could still cost quite a lot for people, but at least no extra people are getting hurt. Peace should make you feel proud, because you are taking on the suffering of the world when you attempt to make war with peace. It is not easy at all, but it is a great decision to make.

  • @astralshift17 When someone pokes me in the chest I walk away. If they call me names, I keep walking. If someone grabs me then I will break their hand. There are limits to peaceful protests. Governments should be SCARED of the people. That is liberty.

  • @Jononutoob The government should be afraid of the people, but not because we can hurt them. They should be afraid of us because we hold their power in our hands and wallets, if we stopped supporting the people who fund them, and stood up for our rights in a diplomatic matter, than they will not have the same amount of power. Such an example was seen just recently in the US when Wikipedia protested SOPA, people let their reps know how they felt, and a lot of politicians stepped back.

  • @Jononutoob Your countries pretty fucked up. Why would Aussies listen to Yanks?

  • @13eyeofthebeholder And yours isnt? lol. America has its own issues to deal with for sure. But Americans will never be slaves because we have our guns and have had liberty before. Modern Australia started as a prison and not much has changed. Dont listen to the American government but you would be wise to hear what Americans say. Of course you should ignore the idiots who think American Idol is important. Sadly Australia will be used by USA for military reasons.

  • @Jononutoob You're a fool. You're guns cause the deaths of hundreds of innocent Americans every year, let alone the thousands of foreigners (mostly civilians). In Australia we rarely have murders and when there is, it's nation wide news and there is desperation to capture the criminal. Australia was used as a penal colony but over 90% of it's population's ancestors were free settlers who chose to come here to build a new nation. I'd expect a lack of knowledge from someone who is from

  • @Jononutoob the USA who has one of the worst education systems in the civilised world (ranked 26th out of the top 30 leading western nations). Most of your countrymen mistake us for Austria. Sadly, America will be further destroyed economically by China and then potentially military destroyed by China as well when the US's oil runs out and we share uranium resources with China, of which we have 70% of the global supply. No one would be wise listening to an Ignorant American.

  • @13eyeofthebeholder You do realize that your Australian leadership is working with US on military expansion in the south pacific region? You also do realize your economy is connected to America's. We go down, you go down. Also Americans are aggressive and removing guns wont change anything. If you ban guns in America then only criminals will have them and there will be just more knife killings. Im not ignorant. You are the idiot saying guns kill people. People kill people.

  • Shame! Shame! Shame! Those protesters should be ashamed of themselves. I'm no fan of Gillard or Abbott, but turn around and attack them is disgusting and does nothing but harm to their cause.

  • Unprovoked palm strike to the throat.

Targeting someone in traditional dress with traditional equipment that is obviously ceremonial.

    Unacceptable.

  • Yeh a Scottish dirk is ceremonial as well - doesn't stop it being any less lethal.

  • @VeloceManiac Unprovoked? The chap in traditional dress clearly strikes the officer/guard at 00:27, BEFORE the officer strikes him.

The protestors got off lightly. Carrying on with friggen spears and not a single government firearm looks to have been drawn.

  • @hugosemc he didn't "strike' the guard, he pushed him away. The guard reciprocated with a full punch to the face. Not ok.

  • @lindaseaborn

What? They were both open palmed. Yes, one was harder than the other. But seriously, you hit a law enforcement officer in the presence of the Prime Minister whilst you're armed with a spear, what exactly do you think is going to happen? Then he aims it at his face?? He's lucky he wasn't shot.

  • @hugosemc

the police's open palm was a properly executed strike to a sensitive area.

The indigenous man was just trying to maintain distance between his group and the police.

  • @VeloceManiac If they were trying to maintain distance, the Prime Minister wouldn't have to have been "dragged" by the AFP and there wouldn't even be a story.

Again though, you threaten an officer when the PM is around whilst you're holding a weapon, you're lucky not to be going home in a bodybag. The Americans don't put up with this sort of stone aged nonsense and frankly nor should we.

  • @hugosemc

No, america is a totalitarian regime, we are not america, no one should model themselves on america under that premise.

I am referring to the aboriginal man, not every protester there. in terms of wanting to be left alone by police and not approaching past the police line at that time.

Targeting and pushing an already kettled crowd WILL illicit a negative reaction, this is known by the AFP.

Crying stone aged nonsense does not highlight any real problem, or look for any solution.

  • @VeloceManiac And bashing on the glass of a restaurant like a bunch of children is the appropriate way to get people to take you seriously?

The aboriginal man was on the street and they were possibly trying to clear a path for the vehicles. So get off the road. Your meaningless protest will just as innefective from the footpath.

  • @hugosemc

No, they moved past the press line which was clearly infront of a determined police line.

Running into a crowd to single out and detain people is not an acceptable decision, especially if someone is obviously painted wearing ceremonial gear, having ceremonial gear on is not a crime in this case.

Striking someone with with your palm to do damage during a protest that is non violent is by definition provocation and escalation.

  • @hugosemc

    Acceptable?

Do you really want to talk acceptability and genuinely tolerant behaviour?

Does provoking a disadvantaged native population on the 40th anniversary of their protest during the celebration of their genocide of culture, people and land seem tolerant and acceptable to you?

  • @VeloceManiac

To correct they were NOT bashing on the glass they were bumping it to make sound in order to be heard by politicians who refuse to listen or raise any awareness for the issues that concern them.

Infact complete disregard for them and intent to suppress them was shown, openly.

  • @VeloceManiac Bumping? It's still the behaviour of children. Poorly behaved children, at that. Most kids are better behaved.

  • @VeloceManiac Sorry, but I think he probably has you on this one.

No matter what the PM has done, behaving this way just makes them look uneducated :P

If you want to make change, do it with maturity and compassion for the change you wish to create. If you can convince people to be truly passionate about the cause, than this behavior would more than likely not show.

Either it is civil war or true peace. Anything in between has no power, and will not change anything.

  • @hugosemc

Bash: To strike with a heavy, crushing blow

I dont bash a door when i want to be heard, i knock on it.

A protest is not a time to act in a reserved manner.

    Heres something from a dictionary website: pro·test [n. proh-test; v. pruh-test, proh-test]noun

an expression or declaration of objection, disapproval, or dissent, often in opposition to something a person is powerless to prevent or avoid:

  • @VeloceManiac Note that the definition doesn't include behaving like uncivilised animals.

There's absolutely no pragmatism here. We teach children at an early age that carrying on like this is rarely the way you act when you want something. That's true for adults also, regardless of whether you consider your ancestors to have been unfairly treated by men of other backgrounds or not.

  • @hugosemc

I don't see anything other than normal descent here.

What do you mean by WE?

Its not just a grievance of previous generations. its that they have and their families have, in fact there are government employees that were involved in the stolen generation (which ended in the late 1970's) that still hold positions of power and influence today.

Calling people who conducted a peaceful protest uncivilized animals and suggesting cultural superiorities is racist.

  • @VeloceManiac Ah yes, the "racist" card. How articulate of you. All I've said is that beating/bashing/bumping on the windows of a restaurant is uncivilized. Half the people there seemed to be white anyway, but don't let that stop you from suggesting I'm a racist (you should probably seek a definition of that term at that website you found earlier).

And by "we", I mean civilized society.

  • @hugosemc

Im going to add that this whole situation was again inflamed by the Australian government on many levels and in fear of having seen to be ridiculed on Australia day the govt opted for a show of power and force upon a downtrodden group of people.

Ultimately i disapprove of the situation, and believe that with more skilled diplomacy it would have never escalated to this level.

I find the willingness for the Aust govt to disregard such protests as quite telling.

    That is my 2c.

  • @VeloceManiac OH WE ARE SO DOWNTRODDEN!! Maybe if they stopped with the GIMME GIMME and sought to improve their own lives now and in the future rather than endlessly seeking the impossible correction of errors made many years ago by people who are mostly now dead and indeed thought they were doing good deeds at the time, they might get somewhere.

  • @VeloceManiac You could just say "yes, I think that the bashing on the glass is acceptable"

  • @hugosemc

You could just stop putting words in my mouth.

  • @hugosemc

Thats is not a strike, its a touch at arms length.

Spears are ceremonial just like scottish dirks etc etc.

  • @VeloceManiac and how ceremonial are they when they're aimed at someone's neck?

The police issuce .40 cal Glocks are worn in ceremonies also. I presume you'd be okay with them being drawn and aimed at the protester?

  • @hugosemc

Abbott and the police were responsible for the escalation of force here.

If you single someone out and he makes it clear that he wants to keep a distance and have distance kept from him, and then proceed to use physical force, you can expect that individual to react in the same manner.

  • @VeloceManiac Again, and I don't know why this is difficult to grasp, the chap with the spear initiated the physical contact. You can characterise it however you like, but he touched the officer first (at least as far as the video shows).

If you think it's okay for spear wielding protesters to go laying their hands on law enforcement without any return show of force then I don't lnow what else to tell you.

  • Comment removed

  • respect to that big ass camera man.

  • All those white bleeding heart liberals should just leave Australia if they feel so awful about the plight of the natives.

  • @PaulBlank85 - Then you'll get that slave economy you've been waiting your whole pointless life for.

  • Australia Day is white cops punching Indigenous men in the face. Wait what? That is every day.

  • omfg he does too lololol wtf

  • haha at 00:32 the Abo guy lines up his spear to put it through the dickhead security boofhead. good on him!
