great song by a brilliant man and an equally brilliant band. the boys and the little bald glaswegan up front have lost nothing in the all the years they've not been together. love ya a ton mr ure.
Yeah I agree with chirodocheilman, midge ure is a legend and the most important thing is that he´s still giving us the chance to listeng to him live ^^
A lot of comments about the voice crack on "Dancing" but think about it - he probably has really worked those vocal cords to death over this many years. It's hard to it high notes like that with so much power and emotion. So what if they lost their hair, least they don't do a comb over
Even though my own hair is exactly that - 1 hair, I wish the guys on bass and drums would wear toupees or wigs - it really looks like rent-a-slaphead.
Having said that, Midge sounds absolutely fantastic after all these years. Although I prefer the instrumentation in the Ultravox original, this song is as fresh and meaningful today as ever and Midge sings it with total conviction - he is still my hero!
I don't really care whether or not he still hits the 'high' notes. I am more concerned that despite the fact that this song is more than 2 decades old the message is still the same. --We run the potential of distroying the very world that we call home.--
don't get me wrong, he still brings on a fantastic performance and maybe he can sing those high notes again (e.g. jbj nowadays can sing high notes again that he wasn't able to sing for years just because he worked with a vocal coach), but here he doesn't sound that good...but that's just my opinion...

That's not true! I saw his acoustic set recenetly and he smashed those high notes in every song!

Have you ever tried to catch the high notes that Midge sings? Uvox songs are so difficult to sing ... respect to THIS Midge.
