This is really good. I've enjoyed several of your cover songs so far, and now I see you also have a talent for songwriting. Very nice job. This song reminds me a little of Cat Stevens' songwriting - the lyrics and melody. Hope you don't mind the reference - it's meant at a compliment.

Tighter guitar work in this one, of course the arppegiation is much simpler. Still, your voice is too thin and closed off. I would suggest practicing singing with your throat open like an opera singer for an hour, without trying to control how it sounds, or so and then start singing your song at that point.

DIG IT ! Yur song is hellaciously wicked! Loved the interlacement of feelings and emotions. You show a masterful command of lyrics that not only evoke mood, pain and the whole 9 yards but it is also tender and heart endearing. The gals will love it and the fellas should as well. It resonates on many psychic chords to a wide audience who are still capable of feelings and the pain that is inflicted and later regretted.

Yeah, just a simple little song about a more complex issue. Not much allegory in my writing style, pretty much just lay it all out there. Hey, "Love Hurts" was a hit, wasn't it?!? ;o)
