Alexander the Great [Megas Alexandros] was born July 20th 356 BC in Pella which was the ancient capital of Macedonia which was pronounce Ma'k'edonia and not as we now say Ma'c'edonia.

PART 1: There was a Greek culture and a Macedonian culture which probably were quite similar. I’m not saying that the people who live in Macedonia today are Alexander’s heirs, but saying that present-day Greeks have much in common with the ancient ones is a lie as well (What I think is that a lot of the ethnic Greeks got replaced by people from other Mediterranean countries over the centuries).

Alexander the Great [Megas Alexandros] was born July 20th 356 BC in Pella which was the ancient capital of Macedonia which was pronounce Ma'k'edonia and not as we now say Ma'c'edonia.
